Intro

Hi, I'm a new mom and felt compelled to start blogging my new adventure of Mommyhood because it is so incredible. I always thought the women who loved being pregnant, talked bout their kids constantly and whole lives were wrapped around their kid, were those crunchy granola, tree-hugging, hippie Mommys....hmmm well I now understand.

Don't get me wrong, when my baby was first born May 25, he was like a foreign object to me who just cried all day and night. He made me anxious, exhuasted, stressed and in pain. Then suddenly he started smiling and cooing at 6 weeks and I realized he is a little person. He is now 3 months old and after you take care of a baby 24x7 all day and night you now live, breathe and would die for this little being. Now it's not that he cries that I can't sleep, but then I start thinking about his first day of school and worried about things that don't exist yet.

The adventure of Mommyhood is crazy. It is an adventure that I'd like to share and blog about because although millions of women go thru this - it is different for everyone and one day I might forget it, one day it might fade...he will one day be Daddy's little boy, then he will be someone's boyfriend and eventually somebody's husband. But today, TODAY he is Mommy's little baby and what an adventure to write about.
